* Booking Management and Contract Performance (Art. 6.1.b GDPR): We process identification and contact details (name, email, phone number, passport/ID, postal address) to manage your reservation, process your stay, and handle customer service.
* Legal Compliance (Art. 6.1.c GDPR): Processing guest identity details is mandatory to comply with statutory traveler registration and security reporting laws (Organic Law 4/2015 and Royal Decree 933/2021), as well as tax and accounting obligations.
* Payment Processing: Online payments are handled securely via certified payment gateways (Banco Sabadell / Redsys) under end-to-end SSL/TLS encryption. Barceloneta Suites does not store or handle complete credit card numbers.
* Commercial Communications & Feedback (Art. 6.1.a / Art. 6.1.f GDPR): Subject to your explicit consent or our legitimate interest for related hospitality services, we may contact you regarding your stay feedback or special offers. You may opt out at any time.
3. Mandatory Nature of Information
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) in booking and contact forms are strictly necessary to process your request and fulfill statutory guest registration requirements. Failure to provide mandatory data will prevent us from completing your booking.
4. Data Retention
Personal data will be stored only for the duration necessary to manage your booking and stay, and thereafter preserved (duly blocked) for the periods required by applicable civil, fiscal, accounting, and public security regulations.
